Fernando Castillo is the Drafting Manager at TWK Steel, bringing over 25 years of experience in structural drafting, detailing and 3D modelling. With deep expertise in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD, Fernando has been using Tekla since 2005 and is highly regarded for his technical accuracy, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Fernando leads TWK Steel’s drafting department, overseeing the production of 2D and 3D shop drawings, site marking plans and coordination. He ensures all deliverables comply with AS/NZS 5131, AS 4100, and other relevant Australian Standards, and supports the production team with material take-offs, site inspections and technical guidance throughout the fabrication process.
With strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, Fernando plays a vital role in maintaining the precision, efficiency and delivery quality that TWK Steel is known for.
