Ash Faramarzi (Afshin) serves as the Quality Manager at TWK Steel, bringing over two decades of specialised experience in welding engineering, quality assurance and structural steel compliance. With a background in Material Science and Engineering, Ash is a certified International Welding Engineer (IWE) and holds multiple international qualifications in NDT inspection, welding supervision and quality control systems.
Ash has worked extensively with Australian and international standards, including AS/NZS 1554.1, ISO 9606-1, AS/NZS 3992, ISO 3834, and AS/NZS 5131, and is fully accredited in Steelwork Compliance Australia (SCA) CC2 and CC3. He is also experienced in meeting Transport for NSW (TfNSW) and RMS requirements, with practical knowledge of RMS codes B201, B240, and B220.
With a career spanning multiple countries and high-specification projects, Ash brings a deep technical understanding and a rigorous quality-first approach to TWK Steel. He plays a critical role in overseeing compliance, certifying welding procedures and ensuring all fabricated steel meets the highest standards of safety, durability and performance.
